GGU Guest House

The Guest House is administered by a Director and a Joint-Director appointed by the Vice-Chancellor.

The Guest House is meant for the accommodation of the Official Guests of the university and may also be used for the Non-Official Guests of the permanent employees of the university if there is vacancy.

Official Guests: Official Guests consists Priority I and Priority II guests Priority-I guests - Members of University Court, University Executive Council, University Academic Council, Finance Committee, Building Committee, University, Selection Committees, School Board, Department Board of Studies, Examiners, and External Experts invited to conduct PhD, MPhil, and PG viva voce. All allotment covered under this category are entitled get rooms at official rates. Priority-II guests - include, the officials invited for campus placement and MoU meetings; the participants in seminars, workshops, symposia, conferences, and training programmes, conducted by the University, School, Department, Centre, and Cells. All allotment covered under this category are entitled get rooms at official rates.

Non-Official Guests: Priority III guests- They include the guests of the employees of the university (referred by a University permanent employee), and the registered members of the Alumni of the University (referred to by the Alumni Coordinator), and parents of the students of the university (referred to by the Head of the Department) fall in this category. All allotment covered under this category are entitled get rooms at staff/guest rates.
